Following the biggest ever, scientifically-conducted count of India's tigers at a time when the predator faces extinction in the wild. India is home to 60% of the fewer than 4,000 wild tigers still believed to survive worldwide. UK wildlife campaigner and zoologist, Martin Hughes-Games, joins the teams of Indian scientists and foresters tracking the tigers, using the latest hand-held mapping technology, DNA sampling and special high-speed cameras.
