Atle Antonsen stars as Dag, a reclusive marriage counsellor who believes that people should live in solitude. The self-medicated therapist attempts to convince his patients that divorce is the answer to their problems. Dag's dislike of spending time with other people leads him to live an isolated but peaceful lifestyle. However, his strange ideologies are disrupted when his sister sets him up on a blind date with an equally unusual woman named Eva. The pair get to know each other under darkly humorous circumstances.
