A young woman, Eun-soo, is framed for crimes she did not commit and left a widow when her husband dies. With crushing debt and a child to care for, she makes it her goal to uncover the misdeeds and hypocrisy of the country's wealthiest people and expose them. Hyeong-woo is a man who vows to take revenge against those who drove his father to death when he was still a teenager. II-joo, a young woman raised by Hyeong-woo's family after her foster mother's death, becomes friends with Eun-soo. As the three struggle to reach their individual goals, their needs and wants result in anguish, betrayal and love.
