Jamie Theakston presents a six-part series that documents a nationwide search to find an extraordinary dog that could possibly be taught to fly an aeroplane. From Britain's rescue shelters, 12 dogs are selected based on their personalities and potential, as Jamie and the team aim to highlight how intelligent canines are and how their skills can be put to the test. After ten weeks of training, three of the highest-performing dogs are selected to go on to flight school. In the world's first project of its kind, one pooch is then given the challenge of flying an aeroplane.
