Some people may consider being called an egghead an insult. Others not only embrace the title but are part of a team of eggheads on the quiz show of the same name. The Eggheads team are made up of some of Britain's top quizzers, including big-money winners from other quiz shows and other trivia Goliaths. Each episode features the Eggheads facing a team of challengers trying to beat the incumbents in a quiz competition to win a cash prize. If the Eggheads beat the challengers, the cash prize is rolled over to subsequent episodes until it is won.
