Zak and Tom arrive on Earth as angels with a mission: to put things right and help others. Zak is the older of the two and more cynical, having visited numerous times over many years, while Tom's naivety and enthusiasm - he's never before been on this planet - get him into trouble but are otherwise amusing to those around him. The guys work their magic in the guise of lawyers for a firm that takes on gritty cases, as they attempt to comfort humans and help them understand the consequences of their actions without creating an emotional bond.
