Depicting crime world machinations in the United Kingdom and Ireland, this miniseries thriller stars Dougray Scott as Michael O'Connor, a notorious leader of one of the most dangerous gangs in Manchester, England. Spurred by the murder of his wife, he tries to leave that life behind, determined to build a quieter existence in Dublin, Ireland, with his pregnant girlfriend. But miles in between can't fully separate Michael from where he was, and when his only son, Sean, is implicated in a murder back in Manchester, Michael tries to save him, in turn opening old wounds and forcing him to confront his troubled past.
