In this two-part programme, rugby player Lawrence Dallaglio and cricketer Freddie Flintoff participate in a gruelling bike ride from Greece to London. The pair travel 3,000km from Olympica, the birthplace of the ancient Olympic Games, to Stratford, East London, the4 site of the 2012 Olympics. Along the way, they travel the length of Italy, across the Alps and through the Champagne region of France. To make things more difficult, they face a number of challenges along the way, including racing up killer mountains and abselling down freezing waterfalls. Dallaglio and Flintoff are joined by members of the public and celebrity cyclists as they ride through some of Europe's most spectacular scenery. Ultimately, the purpose of this ride is to raise money for charity.
