Award-winning Australian comedian Sarah Kendall plays Sammy Cooper in `Frayed'. Set in the year 1989, the comedy drama series follows the journey of a fabulously wealthy London housewife whose life appears perfect. However, her husband's death in a bizarre sexual accident reveals that her perfection is merely on surface-level, as their financial troubles are exposed, after which she is forced to return to her hometown of Newcastle, Australia. Upon her return home, she is forced to confront her difficult past that led her to leave as a teenager.
