This two part documentary tells the story of 35 participants mainly from Newfoundland and Labrador who traveled to Gallipoli in September of 2022 to dedicate the 7th Caribou Memorial. It traces the events of the past through commemorations in the present and explores the reasons it took a century to happen. All told through the experience of relatives of those who fought there in 1915/1916. The story is told as the pilgrimage participants explore and visit the battlefield and the graves of Newfoundlanders and Labradorians buried there.
