From the Vaults
History
CBC arts reporter Amanda Parris and CBC Radio broadcaster Tom Power host an all-access journey into the CBC music archives of musical performances and candid interviews from the past 60 years. Segments include a 1959 Sammy Davis Jr. special, the debut of Shania Twain, and more. The series reveals CBC's role in offering established stars and on-the-rise stars a platform that no other network could offer. Along with the archival footage, each episode focuses on the impact of the performance on Canadian television as a whole.
