Chef Gino D'Acampo enjoys an Italian summer in the northern part of the country, meeting the people, experiencing the culture and tasting the food the area has to offer. He visits regions including Venice, Florence, Liguria, Siena and Emilia-Romagna to experience their authentic traditions and source the best local ingredients so he can prepare his own dishes during the journey. This is the second series of `Gino's Italian Escape', the first season of which explored the food traditions of southern Italy.
