`Downton Abbey' writer Julian Fellowes indulges his fascination with Britain's great houses by discovering the real people behind Burghley House and Goodwood House. The two-part factual series follows Fellowes as he unearths the houses' history by examining the lives of those who owned them and those who served in them. At Goodwood House in Sussex, for example, Fellowes discovers how a love affair between King Charles and a French spy is responsible for the existence of the house and the family.
