Heroes of many comic books and movies are famous for superhuman abilities. Dodging bullets, flying through the sky with ease, eliminating bad guys, and saving the gal are just part of a day's work. "Hardcore Heroes," however, focuses on real people -- displaying remarkable loyalty, valor and bravery -- who laugh in the face of danger. Episodes highlight several adrenaline-packed stories of courageous fighters -- from everyday Joes to people like ace pilot Chuck Yeager -- as they battle the elements, risk their own lives saving others, and change the course of history.
