`Home from Home' follows neurotic, try-hard dad, Neil Hackett and his long-suffering wife Fiona as they embark on their life-long ambition of buying a lodge in the Lake District. After years of saving the pair finally purchase their `traditional' lodge at Lake View Holiday Park. Not long after however their dream home turns into a nightmare as they meet their neighbours, the effortlessly superior Dillons. Keen to get to know her neighbours Fiona hosts a `getting-to-know-you' barbeque, all goes well until Neil makes the ultimate blunder.
