This comedy series, written by and starring Miles Jupp, is based on the BBC Radio 4 series of the same name. The story follows the life of anxious cookery writer Damien Trench and his partner, Anthony. The pair are forever renovating their North London home in Queen's Park with the help of builders Mr Mullaney and Steven. But what Damien enjoys most is writing his latest book, `In and Out of the Kitchen', which documents his culinary adventures and other experiences. During this quest for perfection in his career and personal endeavours, he finds that life doesn't always turn out quite as well as his recipes do.
