One of the latest trends in home improvement is the construction of outdoor rooms. Less expensive than building an addition onto a home, these functional spaces not only increase square footage, but can provide the same functionality offered by a regular indoor room. Stonemasons (and cousins) Dean Marsico and Derek Stearns serve as co-hosts of this series, leading a crew of carpenters, landscapers and fellow stone artisans through assorted eye-popping creations. Projects tackled include the construction of a zen patio, the building of a stone pizza oven, and the installation of a grill unit with a kegerator.
