This travelogue series follows comic actor Ardal O'Hanlon as he explores Ireland and celebrates Irish culture. Having grown up in Ireland himself, the host has fond memories of the emerald isle; using his knowledge of the area, he reveals interesting stories about the country and its people. On his journey, O'Hanlon uses a set of Victorian guidebooks, written by Mr & Mrs S C Hall, originally created for the English tourist. The trip takes him around small towns, quirky attractions and traditional pubs.
