James May of `Top Gear' fame tries to get the modern man in gear by reteaching traditional skills before they are lost forever. You know, such manly skills as changing a tire, mixing concrete for a kitchen top, or building a model railway ... or even serenading a potential date. May gets down to business in the Man Lab, an industrial space where he and his team perfect their skills through a series of challenges. Each episode also features a celebrity attempting a practical test of his manliness.
