Comedian Joe Per plays a middle school choir teacher from Michigan's upper peninsula who attempts to talk directly to the audience about mundane subject matters such as iron, Sunday breakfast, fall drives, dancing, music, and sleeping. Pera delivers mini-lessons on everything from beans to writing an obituary to the rat wars of Alberta. Between lessons are small glimpses into Pera's quiet life offering viewers something to enjoy if they stay awake, or something to fall asleep to in thoughtful bite-sized episodes.
