Created by Mike Judge (Beavis and Butthead) King of the Hill is an animated series about a man named Hank Hill. Hank lives with his substitute teaching wife Peggy, peculiar son Bobby, and his niece Luanne. Together they live in the fictional town of Arlen, Texas. The show tries to depict what every day Texan life might be like if you were a Yankee. Hank spends a lot of time trying to help Bobby be a man, which often seems to backfire. Much to Hanks dismay, Bobby is head over heels in love with their next door neighbour’s daughter Connie. Amongst Hank’s group are his best friend’s Bill Dauterive, Dale Gribble, and the incomprehensible Boomhauer. The show often finds Hank, Bill, Dale and Boomhauer standing together drinking beer and discussing their lives.
