This adaptation of the Kate Mosse novel tells the tale of 17-year-old Alexis Pelletier, from the 13th century, and modern-day PhD graduate Dr Alice Tanner. Although separated by time, their lives are intertwined by an adventure during which ancient and modern conspiracies, all revolving around three hidden books, are unearthed. The trio of tomes - the Book of Words, the Book of Potions and the Book of Numbers - hold the secret of the Holy Grail, which dates back to ancient times. The two very different heroines living in different eras must work together to keep the 4,000-year-old secret from getting into the wrong hands.
