LBX is a league of miniature, customizable automatons who are led into battles by their teenage owners. Van Yamano, 14, is an enthusiastic and gifted player who always wanted his own robot, but his mother always refused. So he is excited when he finally gets Achilles. Soon after acquiring Achilles, Van is entrenched in a battle to free his father -- who originally built Achilles as a prototype for a new series of LBX -- from an evil organization. But Van quickly learns that Achilles is key to a bigger mission: Save the World! Embroiled in battle with powerful people for global domination, Van is assisted by friends Amy and Kaz along with their robots.
