This series, full of laughs and gags, is hosted by Bernard Righton, John Thomson's stage alter ego. The club comedian celebrates world-class comedy and entertainers by taking a nostalgic look back through the archives to find some memorable routines. Each episode features footage performed by comic greats, including Victoria Wood, Joan Rivers, Frankie Howerd, Tommy Cooper, Morecambe and Wise, Jim Carrey and Woody Allen. Bernard brings his own material to the stage in the form of short sketches and running jokes throughout the series.
