Hosted by household name and comedic visionary Susie Essman, Live from the New York Comedy Stage explores the legacy of New York stand-up while taking the audience backstage of the city's greatest comedy venues. This features three New York based stand-ups: Erin Jackson, Gina Brillon and Tom Cotter, as they take the stage at the Gotham Comedy Club, a staple in the New York City comedy scene. Each comedian performs a short set followed by a backstage interview, forging a comprehensive understanding of his/her work. After all three artists have completed their segments, the finale catches them together for the classic wrap into the credit roll.
