Aristocratic Lady Juliana elopes to Scotland with handsome but penniless Henry Douglas. Edinburgh-born novelist Susan Edmonstone Ferrier [1782 - 1854] was noted for her sharp, witty accounts of Scottish life, reflecting views on the social mores of the time, and the relationship between the Scots and the English. Her comedic first novel, 'Marriage', was written in 1810 and much revised before its publication in 1818. Dramatised in three parts by Patricia Hannah. CAST: Lady Juliana ....
