Late-night host Carson Daly returns to NBC's New Year's Eve coverage to begin the countdown to 2012 in New York's Times Square. Daly hosts musical performances by some of today's top artists while waiting for the famous ball drop in the heart of the Big Apple. Scheduled performers include Drake, Jessie J., Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green, Megan Hilty, The Roots, and Tony Bennett. A number of NBC stars, including news anchor Brian Williams and sportscaster Bob Costas, also drop in to pass along their own New Year's greetings.
