Following the destruction of the Cursed Realm and the death of its prisoners, the ninjas find fame for their heroism in the mission. They don't have much time to celebrate, though, because a new threat quickly emerges. A survivor of Cursed Realm loiters in Ninjago, hoping to continue to wreak havoc. In their attempts to follow him, the ninjas head to Stiix, where they have been framed for several crimes and are pursued by the city's residents.
