`Not Safe for Work' is a comedy-drama following a group of colleagues as they deal with their personal and professional struggles. Zawe Ashton plays Katherine, a civil servant and recent divorcee who is forced to relocate after a series of public sector cuts. Katherine finds herself moving to Northampton to join a dysfunctional workplace that deals with immigration. The office is managed by Danny, a drink and drug abuser who always gets into trouble but is not helped by his troublesome PA, Angela. Jeffries, the head of human resources, is just as lost as the others when the cuts reach her department as well.
