Luke is just starting at Bremin High and his mother is acting vice-principal. Luke observes Heath carrying chickens into school and almost gets hit in the head by Niccolina Pandelis' soccer ball. Principal Bates ropes school outcast Ben into showing Luke around school and Jesse, a budding actor, and Brooklyn have an argument who turns to Luke for help in order to make Heath jealous. All while this is continuing Luke discovers Principal Bates missing and his mother has stepped into the role as Principal and the only people who remember Bates and two missing girls are Luke, Heath, Jesse and Niccolina. The four teenagers vow to look into the missing people but a bright light gives them a strange version of the town of Bremin where they appear to be the only people in the world and they need to find out how to reverse it.
