A drama documentary about the role and influence of the Christian Brothers in Ireland. Archival material, interviews and a dramatisation of a school passing from the control of the Brothers to lay teachers, are combined in this subjective view of an order which has shaped the lives of many Irishmen. It was banned by RTÉ for over 10 years until 1991.
