It's a magical moment when a young adult is first able to move out of his or her parents' house and gain freedom by living independently. Not so magical is the moment when someone falls on hard times and must move back in with mum and dad. That's what happens in `Parents' when former high-flying executive Jenny Pope loses her job, possibly because of an altercation she had with a colleague. After her house is subsequently repossessed, Jenny, along with her husband and two teenage children, must move back into her parents' house in Kettering. Just temporarily, of course. Because Jenny is determined to make her way back up the corporate latter to get her old life back - no matter what it takes.
