Penguin A&E with Lorraine Kelly
Documentary
British presenter Lorraine Kelly travels to South Africa to visit Cape Town's busiest penguin hospital. A famous flightless penguin species is found nearby the busy city, where they often find themselves in trouble. The vulnerable birds are found waddling into busy roads, getting injured by human activity or attacked by other wild animals. In this four-part documentary, Kelly meets the veterinarians dedicated to saving the animals. The hospital helps over 1,500 penguins every year. Some of the rescues featured on the show include a bird that has a fish hook in its stomach, a penguin chick with a chest infection and a penguin with a nasty dog bite.
