`Peter & Wendy' is a drama inspired by J.M. Barrie's `Peter Pan', bringing together the popular characters from the classic novel into a re-imagined modern world. Academy Award-nominee Stanley Tucci takes on the role of Captain Hook, Laura Fraser is Mrs Darling, and singer Paloma Faith appears as Tinker Bell. The story follows 12-year-old Lucy Rose, who is suffering from a serious heart condition in Great Ormond Street Hospital, where she and her mother await her treatment with great hope. Before surgery Lucy reads the story of Peter Pan to the other children at the hospital, and that night she dreams of the eponymous character and the fantasy world of Neverland.
