Twin doctors Chris and Xand van Tulleken explore the experiences of children in Britain today compared to the experiences of children in other countries. They conduct a series of experiments on various aspects of child development such as morality, gender awareness, independence and risk-taking, while also considering the impact that technology has had on childhood. Aged between four and seven, the children react to the experiments in different ways, while Chris and Xand compare them to their contemporaries in countries such as Japan and Namibia.
