In the CTV original crime drama "Played," the Covert Investigations Unit tries to take down criminal organizations through risky undercover missions. Led by cop John Moreland, the members of CIU are thrown into different worlds of crime with no safety net and must rely on their skills and instincts to bring down the bad guys. Taking on different characters so often, the team find it hard to keep track of who they really are in high-intensity espionage that is drawn up quickly and executed even faster.
