`Raised by Wolves' is written by Caitlin and Caroline Moran, who reimagine their own childhood growing up on a Wolverhampton council estate. The story follows the life of the Garrys, a working class family of six, whose children are home-schooled but are educated in the form of books, films, TV and pop music. The unconventional matriarch of the family is Della, who enjoys teaching her children survival skills and taking them out to forage for food. The eldest siblings, Germaine and Aretha, struggle with adolescence, but always on hand to give them some wise words is Della's father, Grampy.
