In this series, fisherman Robson Green takes angling to further extremes in his search for the ultimate catch. Green travels for miles across the globe to locations well-known for their fishing potential. He must reach the site at exactly the right time with the right fishing guides in order to succeed. Through adverse weather conditions, Green uses his fishing experience and the knowledge of local guides to pick his moments carefully. The episodes follow him as he takes a canoe into a volcanic crater in Hawaii and explores the mysterious rivers of Bolivia. From catfish to giant, shape-shifting octopuses, the catches do not disappoint.
