On his tenth trip to Afghanistan, Ross Kemp documents the efforts of British troops deployed to the war-torn region as he embeds with Whiskey Company of 45 Commando, Royal Marines. They are some of the country's most elite fighting forces, and Kemp seeks to find out what has changed ten years on from the 9/11 attacks. The five-part series sees Kemp talking with NATO's commander in Afghanistan, Lieutenant-General William Caldwell, advisers to President Hamid Karzai, and even members of the Taliban as he attempts to gain a broad perspective on the decade-old war, the longest high-intensity conflict the British have fought since the Korean War.
