For more than three decades, the Road to WrestleMania has kicked off in the Royal Rumble matches in which 30 male and, more recently, 30 female Superstars representing Raw, SmackDown and NXT -- as well as returning WWE Legends -- enter the ring in regular intervals. These determined grapplers must avoid being eliminated over the top rope, all with one goal in mind: outlasting their 29 opponents, thereby winning the match and -- since 1993 -- earning the right to challenge for a championship of their choosing on the grandest stage of them all, WrestleMania.
