They may strive to be perfect homemakers, but behind robotic, subservient and seemingly flawless lifestyles exists women who let it all hang out behind the scenes. "Secret Lives of Stepford Wives" presents stories -- in typical Investigation Discovery re-enactments -- of actual housewives whose desire to keep up with the Joneses is matched only by a desperation to sweep wrongdoings under the rug. The women appear the picture of absolute perfection, but when the sugary façade begins to crack, down come the walls of country club fairytales to reveal patterns of deception, adultery and greed that often lead to tragedy.
