During the 1950s and 60s, pinball made more money than Hollywood as it swept the world and became the epitome of cool, yet today, many children do not know what a pinball machine is. However, there still exists a faithful subculture of `pinheads' keeping the game alive, as fans, collectors, designers and champion players, most of them middle-aged men, continue to indulge their passion at home or in local bars.
