`Sunday Night at the Palladium' is the latest incarnation of a programme that has aired on TV in different versions (and with variations on the title) off and on since it originally premiered in 1955. Each episode features a different presenter - culled from some of the UK's top comics and entertainers - introducing acts from the worlds of music and comedy as they perform on the stage of the London theatre that first opened in 1910. Popular and well-known artists aren't the only ones featured, though; the hourlong programme also showcases specialty acts from around the world.
