`Tatau' is a drama series following the travelling experience of two friends in their 20s. Kyle Connor and Paul `Budgie' Griffiths, from London, have spent months working hard and saving for their round-the-world trip. In his excitement, Kyle decides to get a Maori-style tattoo to symbolise the adventure's ultimate destination - the Cook Islands. But once the guys arrive on the sun-filled land, Kyle notices that the locals are reacting strangely at the sight of the tattoo. Their holiday becomes mysterious when they find the body of a dead girl in a lagoon where, to their horror, the corpse disappears without any explanation.
