Other than his family, there are two things in life that Ted Nugent has great passion for: music and the outdoors. A rock 'n' roll legend, Nugent has sold more than 40 million albums in a music career that began in the 1960s, and he has at least as many fans of his outdoor lifestyle and his love of hunting. "Spirit of the Wild" showcases Nugent on various bowhunts of wild game, and he also uses the program to talk about conservation, the values he believes hunting can instill in youngsters, and the importance of preserving the First and Second amendments. Nugent has been a member of the National Rifle Association's board of directors since 1995.
