A 1976 House of Lords question about the Romanovs in 1918 sparks reminisces and adventure. Stars Maurice Denham. The fifth novel written by Ted Willis [Baron Willis], which was published in 1980 and he appears as himself in this dramatisation. Following a question in the House of Lords as to whether there were any unpublished documents regarding the death of Tsar Nicholas II and his family, Willis meets with the Viscount Tremayne of Trevellick. As a young man, Tremayne was summoned by King George V and Lloyd George to mount an expedition to rescue the Imperial Family of Russia. Does Tremayne have knowledge of what really happened at Ekaterinburg in 1918?
