Produced by the team behind `Shed & Buried' and `Find It, Fix It, Flog It', Henry Cole's `Great British Treasure Hunt' challenges teams of passionate metal detectorists to uncover buried history on the grounds of stately homes. The twist is that they only have 48 hours to complete the task. Detectorists have access to historic estates rumoured to be filled with old treasure. Whichever team finds the most valuable artefacts wins the day, although there will also be an award for the most historically significant find.
