This series features celebrities who compete in a baking competition to raise money for the long-running Comic Relief charity. Four celebrities compete in each episode, with the winner of each episode earning the title Comic Relief Star Baker. Among the celebrities competing are Jonathan Ross, Alexa Chung, Victoria Wood and Chris Moyles. Sue Perkins and Mel Giedroyc present the show and baking professionals, Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood judge the results.
