Charlie Higson gives his version of the tale about a mad professor, adapted from Norman Hunter's classic children's book. Harry Hill takes the lead role as Professor Branestawm, an inventor who seems insensible to the commotion his experiments cause. Always there to save him from disaster are faithful housekeeper Mrs Flittersnoop and best friend Colonel Dedshott. In this hour-long special an evil businessman conspires against Branestawm to remove him from his village, but will anyone discover the malicious plans?
