Lifting the lid off the advertising world, "The Mad Bad Ad Show" attempts to look beyond all the perfect promos, publicity and puff to find out exactly how the public are persuaded to spend their cash. The entertainment programme features host Mark Dolan presiding over two competing teams led by comedians Micky Flanagan and Mark Watson, who are each paired with a famous guest and a leading advertising industry insider who provides insight into the mysterious world of marketing. The teams are quizzed about classic ads from the past and present as well as funny foreign ads, and the team captains are also challenged to shoot their own ads with the studio audience voting for the best one.
